As part of our mission to help reduce the relinquishment rate of pets to shelters due to costs associated with medical conditions, the Cookie Jar medical relief fund was established. The program was launched by Cookie, an 8 year old Pekingese, surrendered to the shelter with overwhelming medical needs. She was so neglected that her chances at adoption seemed bleak. With the rehabilitation efforts of SAHS, she is now fully recovered and adored by the people in her life. Your donation to the Cookie Jar could help another deserving pet.
